This is not your average karaoke event. At Checker's tavern we try to bring you a truly unique karaoke singing evening.
At Checker's tavern, unlike most "karaoke shows" we believe that you the karaoke singers are the show; not the so-called karaoke "host". We have no one on stage to distract from you the singer. At Checkers tavern you truly are the star of the karaoke show! Our 2 person karaoke staff is located off towards the back of the room, well away from the stage area. This leaves them in an ideal position to monitor your sound throughout the entire song. This just can't be done properly from the stage itself. Also, this gives everyone much easier access to them to turn in songs or to handle any questions you may have, without disturbing the singers on stage at any time. This alone helps provide a far better karaoke experience for everyone! We also provide the singer with a nice 25" TV screen to help you see the lyrics even better. Plus, nice stage lighting to help you look like the star of the show!
